Yanmar 1700 Diesel Tractor with Attachments. Mower, Blade

We've owned it 13 years and have used it to mow a half acre a couple times a year. I bought this a refurbished import with 12 hours on it. Currently its sitting at 79 hours. Comes with all attachments listed.

I do not know much about tractors but I will tell you all I can about this one. TX, OK, KS, NM, and Eastern CO. It has been serviced once a year and doesn't use much oil between changes. Transmission is 8 gears total.

All gears and ranges work as they should. PTO is 3 speed and works as well. 3 point works as it should. No leaks that I can see.

They fully stop but grab at the bottom. Mower deck was low hour as well. It seems to work as it should. We mainly mowed dry grass. The blade was used once since new, on my old tractor.

I was told it would fit this tractor but I have never tried it. Parts are easy to find.

Electrical system has never worked. We always start it by jumping the starter. A good battery will hold a charge all season for us.

It's mechanical injection so its smokey until you put a load on it and cranky to start in cooler weather. We always used the pre heater or a small dose of either to get it going. Not sure if it's a problem or not but always it's had blow-by. We have never had to add much oil so maybe its nature of the beast.

One guy said not working it hard and sitting a lot can cause that. If you run it too fast in deep grass it will get hot, which has happened twice in our ownership. 99% of the time it just putts around trimming for us so nobody ever bothered looking into it.
